A Simple Little Rhyme

Dear Diary,

Erato, one of the goddess of poetry who inspires love, paid me a visit:

I woke up this morning with you on my mind

A song in my heart and this simple little rhyme

I closed my eyes and tried to rewind time

Time, rewind...Rewind, Time.

Back to last night when we were together

We escaped to “our world” where no one else mattered

We laughed, we kissed, we held each other tight

We giggled, we talked, we mmmmm

Yeah…that was nice

But there’s no need to rewind time

Our love is aging superbly like fine wine

What we share is tailored-made

Specially-made. Perfectly-made. Custom-made

Simple minded people will never understand

A love so beautiful, so pure...they just wouldn’t comprehend

I’m a believer in love once again because of you

In happily ever after’s and dreams coming true

I woke up this morning with you on my mind
